The company appointed an internal Project Manager and realised this staff member would benefit from learning skills from an experienced ERP consulting firm.
CIO Services Results
To ensure a successful implementation, Advanced Precast engaged Combined Management Consultants (CMC) to provide CIO Services, ERP expertise and mentoring. CMC’s involvement aimed to reduce project risks and facilitate smooth people and process changes.
CMC delivered the following CIO Services to Advanced Precast:
- Provided expert advice during Commercial and Legal Negotiations for the Sponsor, CFO, and Project Manager.
- Mentored the internal Project Manager on project management best practices.
- Assisted in setting realistic expectations for stakeholders, including the Board, Executives, Business Process Owners (BPOs), and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Guided the establishment of the Project Team and BPO structure.
- Supported BPOs with detailed functional and process guidance and Quality Assurance reviews.
- Advised on methodology stages and responsibilities for all team members.
- Established and governed scope and budget control measures.
