PVHBA needed to evaluate suitable Magento eCommerce Vendors to develop the Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein sites for Australia and New Zealand.
eCommerce Evaluation Results
PVHA engaged Combined Management Consultants (CMC) to conduct the Magento eCommerce Vendor Evaluation. CMC worked with the PVHBA team to write the “User Stories” and a develop the Request for Proposal.
CMC facilitated the Vendor Evaluation process. It was paramount to the success of the project that the successful Vendor would be able to form a strong ongoing partnership with PVHBA.
This partnership objectives included:
- Develop Australian and New Zealand eCommerce websites for Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.
- Design and build a hosting solution for the new eCommerce websites.
- Establish an ongoing 24/7 Support Strategy.
- Ensure compliance with PVH Information Security and Practices Policy.
- Agree on ongoing services to keep up to date with design, navigation, and structural changes in the global sites.
- Extend all services to other PVHBA brands and leverage improvements made across all PVHBA sites. This ensured that the new sites effectively mirror the global sites in design, structure, navigation, and performance.
CMC utilised its independent Vendor Evaluation Methodology to conduct the evaluation, which included the Request for Proposal, Vendor Presentations, Due Diligence, and Reference Checking. CMC identified the preferred Vendor.
Subsequently, CMC was invited to project manage the eCommerce Implementation on behalf of PVHBA. CMC continues to support PVHBA with ongoing strategic consulting and project and vendor management, as required.
