Change Management Background

Oracle led the project management for the implementation of the Order to Cash and Service Delivery modules at Cochlear. As the go-live date approached, Cochlear recognised the need for additional support to prepare its workforce for the upcoming changes. To address this, Cochlear engaged Combined Management Consultants to scope, plan, and manage Change Management and workforce readiness activities before the rollout.

 

Business Challenge

Cochlear needed immediate Change Management support to define a strategy and identify the key tasks required to prepare the business for the new systems. Oracle’s Project Manager recommended CMC, recognising their strong track record in delivering Change Management services.

Results

CMC worked alongside Oracle to create and document a tailored Change Management Strategy for the implementation. CMC then led the delivery of this strategy, supporting Cochlear through readiness assessments and workforce preparation activities. They helped engage impacted teams and ensured the organisation was ready for the transition.

CMC’s involvement directly contributed to the successful implementation of the new modules. After the rollout, CMC transferred knowledge and insights to the US-based team, enabling them to build on the project’s success in future deployments.
