David Brown Santasalo operated on a legacy system that lacked an integrated solution and failed to provide adequate functional support for the business. Although the company upgraded to the latest version of the system, the update did not significantly resolve their ongoing issues.

Business Challenge

David Brown needed to carry out a pragmatic and concise Evaluation Process to identify a suitable vendor for a new business system.

Results

CMC guided David Brown through an independent Evaluation Process that concentrated on minimal key business scenarios, targeting the company’s core problem areas.

The team conducted an ERP Evaluation Process using half-day vendor presentations tailored to the defined business scenarios. The organisation developed a Business Case internally and submitted it to their UK parent company for consideration.

We found CMC’s Evaluation Process to be pragmatic, and their templates were integral in allowing us a “fast start” to our project. CMC’s use of Business Scenarios was excellent and when it came to the Vendor demonstrations, we were able to quickly see which solution would work for us
