Background
Ultraceuticals, established in 1998 manufactures and distributes high quality Australian skincare products. They sell via stores, beauty salons and online.
Business Challenge
Ultraceuticals sought to implement a new integrated ERP system to improve management and control of business processes, contract manufacturing, and supply chain efficiency to support future expansion.
The new ERP system aimed to achieve several key objectives:
- Enhance customer service and sales efficiency.
- Provide real-time financial information and KPIs.
- Improve workflow, reporting, and business intelligence across all areas.
- Automate demand forecasting, stock ordering, and inventory control.
- Integrate contract manufacturing and warehouse operations.
- Optimise supply chain processes, including warehouse management and delivery.
Results
Ultraceuticals engaged CMC to conduct an independent ERP Evaluation Process to determine which solution would best support the business moving forward.
The process included:
- Facilitating a Vendor Pre-Qualification process to shortlist potential vendors and solutions.
- Managing a Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
- Overseeing vendor presentations.
- Conducting due diligence.
- Providing technical advice to support decision-making.
- Preparing a Vendor Selection Report for the Board.
Following CMC’s evaluation, Ultraceuticals proceeded with the implementation of the preferred ERP solution. This strategic move positioned the company to streamline its operations, improve data visibility, and support its growth objectives.
