Business Challenge

As a part of a tri-annual Review of Performance, Australian Wool Innovation identified a need to enhance its data management and reporting. Specifically, the enhancement was necessary to ensure more consistent and reliable utilisation of data. This would assist in decision-making, program evaluation and general operations.

Furthermore, Australian Wool Innovation recognised that ad-hoc reporting, poor data quality, unreliable data sources and limited knowledge retention were limiting Australian Wool Innovation ability to effectively pursue its Mission Statement – to increase the sustainability of the Australian wool industry.

Consequently, addressing these challenges became a priority.
