Background
PVHBA (PVH Brands Australia), previously Gazal Corporation is a leading apparel supplier of casual wear, men’s business shirts, intimate apparel, work wear and school wear. PVHBA launched a project to implement Epicor for Retail to manage merchandising, sales, and allocation to their retail stores. To support the initiative, they engaged a partner to conduct a Project Health Check.
Business Challenge
PVHBA needed focused, experienced project management support to prepare for project completion and a successful Go Live.
Results
PVHBA engaged CMC to perform a Project Health Check, assessing the project’s structure, deliverables, resources, costs, and overall feasibility. The health check identified several improvement areas. CMC’s project manager formalised the project structure, created clear status reporting channels with all stakeholders, and established a functional resource structure with defined accountabilities.
PVHBA successfully went live with Epicor in October 2012, meeting the revised schedule.
After Go Live, CMC continued to support PVHBA with ongoing IT initiatives. PVHBA then launched a 3-month Post Implementation Review and Remediation project to address post-Go Live needs, which CMC successfully completed. CMC continues to provide PVHBA with project management support across various Supply Chain and Retail Business Systems initiatives.
