Telstra required an independent review and high level strategy preparation for the effective integration of the application platforms available at Telstra Retail outlets to deliver better service to the customers while streamlining business processes for the organisation.
Business Challenge
A number of internal Telstra personnel were engaged on various productivity improvement programs. A single focus across the applications landscape was required to ensure that all recommendations and strategies focused on the same outcomes.
Results
CMC provided an experienced Retail and Systems Strategist to work on a focused assignment to provide the necessary analysis and recommendations as to the future project landscape required to deliver operational effectiveness at Telstra Retail shops throughout Australia. System Impacts on distributors and licensees were included in the scope of the assessment. Projects required to deliver the strategy were identified and high level budgets determined.
The documentation was provided to Telstra for consideration and budgeting activities.
