  • Streamlined operational effectiveness through improved, standardised and streamlined business processes.
  • Better visibility of timely, financial information necessary to ensure that the business is operating on an efficient and profitable basis.
  • A stable platform capable of accommodating sustained and long-term future growth.

Results

Sapphire Group engaged CMC to conduct an independent ERP Evaluation Process to determine which ERP solution would best support the business moving forward. Sapphire wanted to partner with a Vendor who possessed deep knowledge of process manufacturing, demonstrated a strong cultural fit and showed willingness to offer ongoing post-implementation support.

CMC facilitated the Vendor Pre-Qualification process to assist in short-listing suitable Vendors and solutions. CMC then worked with the business to document Sapphire Group’s Key Business Scenarios.

Subsequently, CMC project managed an RFP process, managed the Vendor presentation and Due Diligence, and provided technical advice to support the decision-making process.

CMC prepared a Vendor Selection Report for the Board, and Sapphire Group selected SAP B1 from MicroChannel Services.

CMC then received an invitation to provide a client-sided Project Manager for the Design and Implementation Phases. The ERP solution went live on the required date with minimal issues encountered.

Additionally, CMC provided assistance with the new Warehouse Layout and Design.

We were highly impressed with CMC throughout our ERP evaluation and implementation project. The combined efforts of our own team, CMC and the Vendor were exceptional in getting the project over the line in a very tight timeframe
