Blackmores has operated for over 90 years and leads the market in natural health products. They develop and market vitamins, minerals, herbs, supplements, and alternative health solutions to help customers take control of their wellbeing.

Blackmores manufactures and distributes its products to pharmacies, health food stores, and supermarkets.

Business Challenge

Blackmores needed a Sales Force Automation and Customer Relationship Management solution for its 80 mobile sales staff. The new solution also needed to integrate with their existing ERP system, JDE EnterpriseOne.

Results

Blackmores engaged CMC to run an independent Vendor and Software Evaluation of Sales Force solutions. CMC provided the evaluation methodology and project templates, developed functional requirements, documented business scenarios, and mentored Blackmores’ Project Manager. CMC also supported project governance, quality assurance of vendor demonstrations, and commercial negotiations for licenses and services.

Blackmores selected CAS (CPWerx) as the preferred vendor and implemented the solution.

CMC not only brought considerable Project Management skills to our Sales Force Automation Project, they also brought evaluation process, tools and a business acumen which allowed us to deliver a significantly better solution to the business
