Bisalloy had engaged CMC to develop a Strategic Information Systems Plan for the organisation. The report recommended that a number of Workstreams be implemented to support the future growth strategy of the business. A Proof of Concept based on an SAP B1 with an add-on called Beas was approved and this led to the Scoping and Design Project. Bisalloy recognised they would require strong project management to ensure a successful implementation.

Business Challenge

Bisalloy needed to understand the work effort for the entire project, including a detailed Project Plan for the advanced manufacturing implementation of SAP B1 with Beas on a HANA Platform.

Project Management Results

CMC was engaged as Bisalloy’s strategic technology partner to work with the SAP B1 Vendor and key Bisalloy stakeholders to identify the resources, constraints, dependencies, and timeframes for the project. Deliverables were agreed and the project approach was approved to proceed.

CMC then provided ERP strategic consulting and project management for the implementation, including vendor management, change management, data conversion and training on the new ERP manufacturing platform.
