Ferrier Hodgson had appointed a new CEO to assist in managing the partnership. The CEO determined that a Strategic Information Systems Plan (SISP) was required. CMC were commissioned to prepare and deliver this.

Systems support for existing applications and infrastructure was informal. Existing systems did not support the needs of the current or emerging business model.


A SISP was produced and delivered to the CEO. Permanent IT management and support staff were engaged and a number of the recommended projects were commenced.

CMC provided a Project Manager and a Strategic IT Consultant who was also an independent advisor on the Steering Committee for the project. CMC also provided Quality Assurance (QA) and Review of deliverables. CMC’s Project Manager later assumed control for redeveloping the organisation’s web site as part of the ongoing responsibility.
