Background
Cerebos had been directed by their parent organisation, Suntory Group in Singapore to prepare for the implementation of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne throughout Australia and New Zealand. Preparations for determining appropriate budgets, project control frameworks and negotiation strategies with the supplier were required.
Business Challenge
The CIO at Cerebos required urgent short term assistance in planning the framework for the program and in quality assurance of proposal documentation proffered by the supplier.
Results
CMC provided a number of focused and experienced resources to assist Cerebos with:
- QA Review of various proposal and Requirements Analysis documents. Program scoping and governance considerations were also reviewed with the CFO and CIO.
- High level Change Management Plan, including scope and budget.
- High level Training Plan, including scope and budget for the training activities required by the project.
- Preparation of a short paper to assist in the resolution of varying perspectives on Vendor testing commitments.
An additional paper was prepared for the CFO and Board to forecast anticipated Vendor change control in relation to contractual obligations and expectations.
