The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) was looking to upgrade SAP HR and Payroll on an outsourced ASP model to the latest ECC6 version. SAP was engaged to prepare an Upgrade Assessment Report including time and effort estimates.
The scale of the migration estimate provided by SAP was such that alternative perspectives needed to be considered, particularly with respect to identifying the most cost effective way to deliver the ABC’s business requirements.
The ABC’s existing service provider, PayOffice was requested to provide detailed estimates for delivering this technical upgrade.
CMC worked with the Vendor and ABC staff to determine projected costs and a project plan for the upgrade project.
The Business Case for proceeding with the technical upgrade for HR and Payroll was prepared for the ABC Executive. Follow on work was focussed on refining the estimates and determining the ABC’s go forward strategy with respect to this critical functionality.
