Careers / Recruitment Process

The recruitment and induction process used by CMC has substantially been based on referential introductions from past and present CMC consultants and business colleagues. CMC will recruit resources where specific skill sets are required.

The introduction is normally based on the referrer’s experience of having worked with the introduced resource in past projects or organisations.

The CMC Management team reviews the applicant’s resume details and qualifications prior to organising a face to face meeting. During this initial meeting the philosophy and style of CMC is presented and an appreciation gained of the depth of experience and approach of the person being interviewed. Once the resource is determined to have the appropriate background and experience for a role, CMC’s qualified HR Consultant will conduct independent reference assessments to verify resume details and previous project work experience.

For their first deployment, it is standard practice for one of CMC’s Directors to accompany the new team member to the project site to review details of the assignment being undertaken and to ensure that the capabilities of our consultant are in line with the requirements, culture and demands of the client’s project.

Using these referential introductions, structured face to face interviews and a detailed review process for all new team members, assures our clients of the highest potential for success.
