Background

Optus had a challenge to Project Manage the deployment of “fast swap” services for devices including liaison with logistics, sales and 3rd party development organisations.  Related programs had dependencies on this initiative.

An experienced PM resource was required to ensure the program met its deadlines and addressed scope and cost management constraints.

Business Challenge

Appropriately qualified and experienced internal staff were not available to take over Project Management to the required time frame.

Results

CMC provided an experienced Project Manager to support the program of works.  The project was delivered to the satisfaction of management and well under the budget approved for the role.  Ongoing project management of subsequent activities was handed back to Optus staff resources.
