Background

This organisation is Australia’s largest supplier of office and stationery products catering for work, home and school needs. They market and sell a range of stationery, technology, furniture, general office products and print and copy services both online and in store.

Business Challenge

The company was preparing for a restructure to their Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) at North Rocks. They required assistance with developing processes to standardise and categorise SKU pick faces so that the warehouse layout would be streamlined and improved to deliver more effective picking outcomes.

Results

CMC provided guidance and collaborative support to the CFC team to execute the work necessary to progress this preparatory stage for the warehouse restructure. The outcomes were:
