Background

Mayne Consumer was embarking on a project to rationalise ERP solutions deployed within the business to a single model based on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. This project required the migration of JD Edwards XE, MFG Pro and SAP into the new model for the business.

Business Challenge

The scope, resourcing of and approach for this project needed to be established prior to project commencement. It was proposed that CMC prepare a high level Project Charter to put some definition to the project and to enable the business to further consider resourcing levels, capabilities, costs and timeframes.

Results

CMC conducted a short Strategic Planning exercise with the client to define the project’s scope and direction in the Project Charter. The client utilised the Project Charter to support the consideration of project viability with the Steering Committee.
