Blackmores has been in business for over 70 years and are the leaders in developing and marketing products, information, services, advice and knowledge on natural health, vitamins, minerals, herbs and supplements and alternative medicine to helping their customers take control of and invest in their health and wellbeing.

They manufacture and distribute their products to pharmacies, health food stores and supermarkets.

Business Challenge

Blackmores required a Sales Force Automation and Customer Relationship Management Solution for their team of 80 mobile sales staff. The new solution also needed to be able to be integrated to the organisation’s existing ERP system – JDE EnterpriseOne.

Results

CMC was engaged by Blackmores to manage the Evaluation and Selection of a new Sales Force Automation Solution. CMC worked with the client by providing the evaluation methodology and project templates, developing the functional requirements documentation, documenting the business scenarios and mentoring Blackmores’ Project Manager. CMC also assisted with independent Project Governance and Quality Assurance of the demonstrations and with the commercial negotiations for licenses and services provided by the vendor.

CAS (CPWerx) was selected as the preferred vendor and Blackmores have now implemented the solution.
